What’s Happening Around Camp?

Throughout the summer, we continued to upgrade the Main Lodge, the gem of the camp.  The metal roof was completed on the north side. Metal siding was installed on the gable ends as well as the dormers of the roof.

In July, new carpeting was installed throughout the main floor lounge and dining room. The windows on the 2nd floor were also replaced. The picture windows in cabin #1 and #2 were upgraded. On their days off, crews were busy painting the cabins and helping to build a new staff washroom facility.

To improve your comfort on the lake, we manufactured new upholstered swivel boat seats. These were installed on a “Cushion Ride” mounting system. We hope all our guests will be more comfortable. Two new boats and motors were added to our fleet and at the end of the season, we flew over two newer boats into Musclow Lake.

Medical, Dental and Business groups, were happy to have the use of our new projector and screen for giving presentations to their clients and staff.

Once again, we partnered with Adventure Air to do our flying out of Lac Du Bonnet. Their staff, facilities, docks and planes are top in the industry. Due to Transport Canada’s flying regulations, we ask that you book your flight to arrive in Winnipeg by 3:00 PM if you are hoping to fly into camp that day.
